Christopher Dobson

Christopher James Dobson, 31, formerly of Pueblo, CO, passed away on Sept. 10, 2018.

Christopher was born May 21, 1987 in Pueblo, CO to John and Susannah Dobson. He graduated from South High School, Pueblo CO in 2004. Christopher loved music and was part of many musical performances during his time in high school.

More than anything, Christopher loved spending time with his son, Xavier, and watching him grow. He had recently become engaged to his long-time friend Carrie and they were looking forward to becoming a family. They enjoyed reminiscing about Camp Hope days and attending Special Olympic Basketball games for Carrie's students.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, David Dobson, Victor Gorshe, Jim Boham, and great grandparents Gene and Bea Smith.

Christopher is survived and will be missed deeply by his son, Xavier, whom he loved to the moon and back, his fiancée Carrie Gorman; parents, John and Susannah Dobson; brother, David (Brittney), nephews, Tyler and Joshua; grandparents Dorothy Boham, Margaret Gorshe (Roger Peirce); and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private memorial service to be held for Christopher at a later date. Donations can be made in Christopher's name to Colorado Special Olympics.
