Chuck was an entrepreneur resulting in the ownership of 2 car companies and a sports bar. He also worked several other jobs such as the steel mill, bus driver and truck driver for Penske. Chuck took pride in every job as he had a respect for honest work no matter the type of position.
He served 11 years in the United States Air Force. He served in the Vietnam War. His respect for his country was maintained throughout his life.
For fun he LOVED to tell stories of his life experiences such as meeting Leann on a blind date, boxing, bar stories and all the places he was stationed in like Japan, Africa and Goose Bay Labrador. He loved his vanilla sundaes with hot fudge and a good homemade meatloaf. He loved family dinners at 6 and coffee with the news in the mornings. Thanksgiving and Christmas were his favorite Holidays and he always enjoyed hearing from his kids on New Year’s for his Birthday. His love of his family was unconditional and steadfast. He led a remarkable life and left us with memories and fascinating stories. Though he is not here with us in person he will remain in our hearts forever. Per his wishes, he was cremated, and his interment will be at Fort Logan with full military honors.
