Charles Dejoy

Charles "Chaz" DeJoy, 91, passed away on August 9, in Littleton, Colorado. Chaz was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado and lived in Colorado Springs and Petaluma, California before moving to Littleton. He is survived by his wife Lena, son Augie Aimee DeJoy, of Divide, Colorado, daughter Bridget Mark Fleecs , of Littleton, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Newt, Paul, Joe, Sam, and Tony and sisters Clara, Mary, Lucille and Christine. Chaz proudly served in the US Navy during World War II on the USS Nevada battleship.

Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, August 13, at 10:30 AM at Light of the World Roman Catholic Church at 10306 W. Bowles Ave., Littleton, CO 80127. A reception at the church will follow the funeral service. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, at 10:15 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Co 80235, staging area "C". In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Light of the World Building Fund, Light of the World Roman Catholic Church at 10306 W. Bowles Ave., Littleton, CO 80127.
