Carol Jean Yeager

January 16, 1945 — July 28, 2024

Parker, Colorado

Carol Jean Yeager, 79 of Parker, Colorado, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on July 28, 2024. Carol was born in Texas to parents, Elliott, and Eugenia Anderson. Her Father was an Air Force Pilot, and she had the opportunity to grow up in several states but spent most of her time between Utah and Colorado. She attended Aurora High School, (later Aurora Central HS) in Aurora, CO, and graduated in 1963.

In 1964, she married her high school sweetheart, Rod Yeager. They built their lives in Aurora, raising four children. Carol was a loving and fun mom who enjoyed activities like skiing, camping, and swimming, as well as her passion for baking and cake decorating.

In 1971 she started her own cake decorating business creating cakes for various occasions. These were incredibly yummy and highly sought after by friends, family, and others who had tasted her wonderful creations. Additionally, she worked for Aurora Public Schools as a Health Para for over 25 years. Carol was actively involved in the LDS Church, serving in many callings over her lifetime. Her favorite role was attending and working in the Denver, Colorado Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Carol’s children and grandchildren along with her husband Rod, were the love of her life. She will be immensely missed by her family and friends. Carol is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rod Yeager; her children Derek (Kristi) Yeager, Kristen (Mike Hunter) Yeager, Daron (Kristi) Yeager, Kari (Tom) Sherman; her grandkids McKenna Israelson, McKenzie Prieto, Brodie Schweitzer, Tyler Yeager (Deceased), Stephanie Yeager, Brock Yeager, Brynn Nelson, and Scott Yeager; and her step-grandchildren, Brooke Jones, and Erika Woodward.
