Carol Eichenberger

On the evening of October 14, 2015, Carol Ann Eichenberger of Aurora, Colorado passed away in Denver, Colorado from complications of cancer. She was 68 years old.

Carol was born in Chicago, IL in 1947 and was the first child of three and only daughter to Richard and Toshi Hiramatsu.

Carol was preceded in death by: her parents, Richard and Toshi Hiramatsu

Carol is survived by: her partner, Ronald Yara, her only child, Richard and Cassandra Eichenberger and their children, Miles and Athena (grandchildren), her brother, Dale and Sarah Hiramatsu (Mary), her brother, Eric and Leigh Hiramatsu, and her step-mother, Kiyoko Hiramatsu and Billy the Cat.

Carol was a fun-loving, kind and gentle soul, who loved to travel, camp, read, play games, garden, bake and teach others to cook. She always made sure her grandchildren had fun, played games according to the rules and taught them how to bake. She loved to socialize, joke around and was always up for a new adventure. She loved the annual New Year's party at Ritchie's and enjoyed teaching everyone the proper way to roll sushi.

Carol's interment will be at the Santa Maria Dudley Hoffman Chapel, 1003 East Stowell Road, Santa Maria, CA on November 20th at 1pm and will be buried next to her parents.
