Carol Claypool

October 30, 1940 — May 23, 2020

On Saturday, May 23rd, 2020, Carol Anne Taylor Claypool passed away peacefully at 79.

Carol was born in Denver, Colorado to T. Raber Taylor and Josephine Reddin Taylor. She attended St. Francis de Sales high school, Loretta Heights College, and married George Edwin Claypool in 1962. They raised one son, Henry and two daughters, Christine and Susanne. They helped to raise four grandchildren, Luke, Meg, Cecilia, and Theodore.

Carol’s greatest legacy is her loving devotion to her family. She was a caring and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was known for her kindness and willingness to help. Carol had a dry sense of humor and a quick wit that she enjoyed sharing with her grandchildren.

Her father, T. Raber Taylor, her mother, Josephine Reddin Taylor, and her sisters Kay and Peggy preceded Carol in death. In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, four sisters, Mary, JoAnn, Rae and Anne survive Carol.
Donations to the ALS Society are suggested.
