Carlos Pacheco

August 12, 1952 — April 17, 2021

He would have given you the shirt off his back; our dear brother, Carlos A. Pacheco left us on April 17, 2021 at 68 years of age.  Carlos, the only son of Rev. Deacon, Carlos F. Pacheco and Eva was born in Santa Fe, NM on August 12, 1952.
Carlos, lived his life a su manera (his way) and was a very kind soul with an infectious laugh and killer smile.  Carlos, back in the day, worked as a dental hygienist and in the spirit of our dad and mom before him, travelled around the state in a mobile dental unit providing care to those most in need.  Later he worked construction with various entities.  He was the most creative of all of us, and could build or fix just about anything. He liked fishing, camping, playing poker and dancing.
Carlos lived in Stanley, New Mexico.  He is survived by sisters, Michelle and Diana, nieces and nephew along with numerous cousins who have provided love and support during Carlos’s final days. We are grateful for the time we shared with him during his final days. He maintained his sense of humor up to the very end, and will be missed by many.
Services will be held at: Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, located at 417 Agua Fria St, Santa Fe, NM 87501 on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 9:00AM.  Due to Covid safe practices a private, family only burial will be held at some time later in Stanley, N.M. on behalf of our dear brother.
Please, in lieu of flowers we ask you make a donation to your favorite charity and/or plant a tree in his name.
