Bruce Sperberg

Bruce Sperberg passed away on February 18, 2012 at Rose Medical Center in Denver, CO after a lengthy battle with interstatial lung disease. Bruce was born December 18, 1950 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Arthur and Norma Thurlow Sperberg. His early years were spent growing up in Red River, Wisconsin. His family moved to Shawano, WI where he attended Shawano Senior High School. After serving in the United States Army he spent some time traveling living in San Francisco, California; Minneapolis, MN; Milwaukee, WI and Greece. He attended Milwaukee Area Technical College and the University of Minnesota. Later he moved to Denver, CO where he worked for Holme Roberts & Owen LLP law firm as research Library Assistant. Bruce was a talented artist, photographer, writer and musician.

Bruce is survived by his daughter, Temple Ivan Lorenzo of Fort Hood, TX and her children Chelsey, Brittany and Dante, his sister Deborah Sperberg of Waupaca, WI., nieces - Kim Ed Dingman, Katherine Braatz, and Rebecca Michael Lorge; nephews - Rodney Erin Sperberg, Dale Sperberg and Samuel Roloff, various aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dale Sperberg and nephew Todd Sperberg.

Bruce's final wishes were to be cremated and a private family service will be held in Leadville, CO in the spring.
