Brian Lee Webster, passed away on 11/23/18 in Denver, Colorado due to complications of end stage liver failure. He was 67 years old. He lived at an assisted living facility until October, when he was hospitalized for several weeks. He was then transferred to a long term care facility where hospice began.
He was born in Crosbyton, TX to Johnnye and Billy Webster on January 31st, 1951. He is survived by his sister, Elaine Robinson of Lubbock, TX; his daughter, Rebecca Webster; his son, Jonny Webster; 4 grandchildren, Aidan, Devaul, Cian and Liam McIntyre, and Jennavieve Gloekler, all of Denver, CO.
He loved sports and played high school football until he was injured and unable to play. He maintained a love for football his whole life. He loved baseball too, Red Lobster and the mountains. Which is what brought him to Colorado in 1991. He worked various jobs over his lifetime; farming cotton, painting houses, and doing security work at DIA (Denver International Airport). He had a great sense of humor and could see the humor in anything and everything. He was an extremely strong willed and determined man. This served him well when he was diagnosed with cancer in 2002. He was extremely lucky to survive this rare cancer with only surgery.
My father's wishes were to be cremated and to have his ashes spread with his two son's (Enoch & Eddy) ashes in Denver. We will have a small memorial/wake to honor his life before we spread his ashes. More details will be shared when available.
He will be greatly missed by all those friends and family that loved him.
