Brian Paul Sneath, 56 of Denver, CO passed away Sunday. November 11, 2012 surrounded by his family. Brian was born in Rockford, Illinois on July 7, 1956. Brian worked most recently for the Denver Public Schools in their maintenance Department and prior to that he love his many years as a grounds keeper at the Kennedy Golf Course in Aurora. Brian enlisted in the United States Army in 1976 and served his country for three years. He was a avid bingo player and enjoyed trips to the mountains where you might catch him enjoying a slot machine of two. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Mary L. Sneath. Brian is survived by his beloved wife Joyce Wilson. In addition are his sister, Marie Allen McKnight, and brothers, Laurence Diane, Victor Bobbie Policello, Michael Elizabeth, Craig Helen, Kevin Lynn, Mark David Beres and Kris Debra Weakley as well as many nieces and nephews. Our brother and uncle gave us the gift of love and loyalty and the time we were able to share together on earth was too short. Brian, you will forever be in our hearts and now you can rest peacefully. Memorial donations suggested to the charity of your choice or Denver Hospice.
Service and internment will be on December 14, 2012 at 10:00am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Area "A" in Denver. Please contact the family for specific information. Also a celebration of Brian's life will follow at 12:00pm at the American Legion, Leyden-Chiles-Wickersham Post 1, 5400 East Yale Avenue, Denver, CO 80222. It is located on Yale Avenue on the southeast corner of I25 and Yale Avenue.
