Brian Johnson

Brian David Johnson passed away in Jefferson County, Colorado on October 21, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth (Libby) Rebecca Myers Munroe Johnson. He is survived by his father Donald, his brothers Michael and Grant, his sister Monica, his niece Gemma, and his nephews Elijah, Connor and Ethan. Brian was born the eldest of four siblings on January 25, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas. The family moved to Colorado when Brian was 5 years old, and he lived the rest of his life in the Denver area. Brian graduated from Littleton High School in 1977, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1990. Brian worked for over 20 years in customer service, billing and systems support for a variety of satellite television and entertainment firms including Netlink, TCI Satellite Entertainment, Primestar, DIRECTV and CSG Systems. Brian's was an eclectic yet discerning and very keen intellect, which he expressed through a deep and wide-ranging love of literature, games, movies and music. He was a kind, sensitive and caring man, a good friend, and a loving son, brother and uncle, who will be greatly missed. A service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel at Rocky Mountain Memorial Park's Parker Road and Dartmouth location (11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014) for friends and family to remember Brian and celebrate his life.
