It is with deep sadness to announce the sudden passing of Bradley on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
Raised in South Plainfield NJ, Brad proudly served his country as a Marine from 1976 to 1982. Brad then moved to Colorado where he went on to establish a long and successful career in Communications and Technology.
He loved Taz, Cars, Motorcycles, Civil War History, Fishing, Ballooning, Sky Diving, Scuba Diving, Bulls (Taurus), Sci Fi and Puzzles.
He was one of a kind with a unique personality and dry sense of humor who loved his family deeply. He was a mountain of a man with a heart to match. Many knew him as 'Bradzilla' or 'Sasquatch'.
Pre-deceased by his loving parents, Laurence and Joan Rutledge, and father in-law Dale Owen. He will be forever missed by his wife Linda Jo Owen-Kester whom he loved with all his heart and soul, sister Deborah Tymczak-Pawling (Ernie), nephews Darren Tymczak (Ugne) and Andrew Tymczak (Bree), brother Mark Rutledge (Linda); brother Craig Rutledge (Connie), niece Kimberly Rutledge-Brown (Cameron), nephew John Mayer (Jill), great niece Etta, great nephews Jack and Thomas, mother in-law Kathy (Mocka) Owen, Linda's Son David Kester (Breeana) granddaughter Tinley Kester, grandson Cooper Kester, Linda's daughter Kaitlyn Kleiner (Erik), grandson Jason Kleiner, sister in-law Ronnie Hedrick (Ron Schafer), nephew Ryan Hedrick (Angie), brother in-law Butch Owen, nephews Christopher Owen (Nicole), Brandon Owen, niece Amber Watts (Wade), brother in-law Billy Owen (Wendy), nephews Tyler Owen, Sean Owen (Sarah), brother in-law David Owen (Bridgette), nieces Brooke Owen, Brittany Owen, Brianna Bobenmoyer (Jacob), and 17 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
