Billy Marshall Goodwin, age 75, a resident of Santa Fe passed away on January 3, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents Marshall and Loise Goodwin and a brother Jerry Goodwin.
Bill truly was an extraordinary being for every person’s life he has entered his selfless actions and kindness always left an imprint along the way. He was always a very kind and gentle soul who always lent a helping hand when someone needed him. Bill was a very loving and artistic man that put love in every art piece he has ever created. He was a jack of all trades that loved working with his hands, and mastered every technique he’s ever learned. Alongside his beautiful wife they created the house in which they live in. “ I can feel the love in every corner of my home because Bill set every piece of the house with lots of love and a smile was always on his face when working with his hands.” -Elmira
May this extraordinary being watch over all his loved ones and may he forever stay imprinted in our hearts. Billy served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968 he will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife Elmira Goodwin and a sister JoAnn DiMarco. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
