Betty Vantrease

Betty Jane Vantrease, born September 8, 1934 in Greenville, MS passed away on December 21, 2012. She is preceded in death by sons Gary Bryan Stephen and Robert Gordon Stephen, her husband James Clinton Vantrease, her brother Sidney G. Harbison , and grandson Christopher Paul Jensen. Betty is survived by three children; Edwin Michael Stephen of Littleton, CO; Cynthia Jane Stephen Jensen and Robert W. Jensen, son-in-law of Castle Rock, CO; and Sidney Clinton "Red" Vantrease and Kim Vantrease, daughter-in-law of Littleton, CO. Betty was a proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She also leaves many beloved family members and special friends. Betty was a retired bookkeeper and loved spending time in the Colorado mountains. A memorial service for Betty will be held at Valley View Christian Church, 11004 Wildfield Lane, Littleton, CO 80125 on Saturday, December 29th at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Legacy Hospice, 412 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104 or to Advocates for Children, 10855 E. Bethany Drive Suite 200, Aurora, CO 80014.
