Betty Kennedy

Betty Lorraine Kennedy a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother was born on July 3, 1927 in Chicago, IL and passed away on March 6th, 2017 in Denver, CO. Betty attended Wright Junior College in Chicago, IL. Betty enjoyed volunteering at Porter and Littleton Hospitals for many years and during that time she was also a Stephen Minister. Betty was involved with her sorority Beta Sigma Phi and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was predeceased in death by her husband F. Brittain Kennedy Jr. She is survived by her son John Gerken and his wife Doree Gerken, grandchildren Angie, Caylee, JJ and Gage, her great-grandchildren Benji, Hayden and Hudsyn, her daughter Nancy Atteberry, grandchildren David and Nikki, great-grandchildren Charles and Trice, step-daughters, Cindy, Carolyn, Joanne and her husband Dave, grandson Daniel and her sister Paula Skarsgor and niece Linda.
