Bernard Baca

On Saturday January 26th, 2019 Bernard (Bernie) Baca beloved husband and father passed away surrounded by his family at the age of 60.

He was born in May of 1958 to Joe and Gertrude Baca in Santa Fe, NM. He was Proceeded in death by both his parents and brothers, Phil, Gilbert and Anthony Baca.

He is survived by his wife Pola of 35 years, his daughters Ashley and Aryssa Baca. his brothers George Baca, wife Rosemary, Bobby Baca and sister in Law Karen Baca, and many beloved Nieces and nephews.

He had a big heart and contagious smile, always wanting to lend a hand. He enjoyed learning and teaching. He served as an elder for the last 30 years in the Santa Fe English congregations and the last 6 years in the American Sign Language congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. He made many friends in his secular business and treated everyone like a friend. Bernie was dearly loved by all who got to know him. Services will be held this Saturday, February,  2nd at 2:30 pm at the Moriarty Civic Center, 202 Broadway, Moriarty, NM 87035, reception following. The Family of Bernard (Bernie) Baca has entrusted the care of their beloved one to Avista Cremation & Burial.
