Barbara Dyer

Barbara Jeanne (Stubbs) Dyer, daughter of Allan and Genevieve (Montgomery) Stubbs was born on September 11, 1933, in Darby, Pennsylvania. The family moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she grew up and graduated from Paseo High School. Barbara met and married Sidney M. Dyer, Jr., May 4, 1957 in Raytown, Missouri. To this union were born five children - Peter Michael, Pamela Marie, Camilla Ann, Janene Louise, and Allan Joseph. They were members of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Centennial, Colorado where Barbara was president of the women's Association in the 1970's. Barbara lived to reach the age of 85. She peacefully passed away on April 12, 2019 at the Suites - Parker in Parker, Colorado.

Barbara will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Sidney Dyer, Castle Pines, CO, her children Camilla (Garrett) Dalhoff, Cyrus, MN, Janene (John) Grey, Brook, GA, and Allan (Andrea) Dyer, Castle Pines, CO, fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Also mourning her loss is her sister, Sr. Mary Francine Stubbs, SCL (Leavenworth, KS). Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Allan Stubbs and Jack Stubbs; two sisters, Mary Lou Haake and Susie Naylor; her stillborn son; Peter Michael Dyer, daughter; Pamela Marie Pecosky and her unborn daughter Aubrey Genevieve Pecosky. Barbara greatly enjoyed spending time in the mountains of Colorado.

Funeral Mass, Tuesday, April 23, 2019, 11:00am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 S. Quebec Street, Centennial, Colorado 80112.
