Azucena Vazquez

Azucena Lillian Vazquez passed away on Jan 31, 2020 in Aurora, Colorado. She was born April 7, 1931 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She is preceded in death by her husband Hugo Vazquez, and her two sons William (Teresa) Vazquez, and Richard Vazquez. She is survived by her son Daniel (Dawn) Vazquez, two granddaughters and two grandsons, as well as by many friends in Colorado and Oregon and many family members living in Argentina.

Lillian, as she liked to be called, loved to paint and work with ceramics. She was a strong worker and fighter her whole life. She enjoyed looking for antiques during all her travels. She said the happiest times in her life were when she traveled around the US in the 90s in a motorhome with her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Cross. A memorial service will be this spring in Corvallis, Oregon.
