Arvy Chandler

Arvy Chandler, 90, died Sunday, January 16, 2018 at Lowry Hospice.

He leaves his wife of 65 years, Mildred L. Chandler; his sons, Arvy Joe Chandler, Britt Chandler, and Tim Chandler; daughters-in-law, Rhonda Chandler and Joan Chandler; grandchildren, Stephanie Joans, Ethan Chandler, and Nicole Chandler, along with many other relatives.

Born in Nacogdoches, Texas, he spent most of life in Galveston County, Texas. In his senior years he moved to Aurora, Colorado, to be near relatives.

At age 18, Mr. Chandler joined the Navy in 1945, and was on the way to the Pacific Theater when WWII ended. The majority of his life was spent in the oil industry in Galveston County, TV. For much of his life Mr. Chandler was also a minister in the Christian faith. Many people relished the wide variety of duties he performed.
