The gates of heaven opened wide to receive ARTURO SEVERIANO CISNEROS of Denver, Co., on February 13, 2019. He was born on May 15, 1933 in Questa, New Mexico. Arturo, affectionately known as Clips, Brother Art and Turo, was reunited in death with his loving wife and devoted partner in life, Abelina Anna Duran. He leaves a rich legacy of memories: his son Leonard Anthony Cisneros, loving daughter Yolanda Kathleen Cisneros (William Grissom), and his son Kenneth James Cisneros (Jane). He also leaves behind beloved granddaughters: Angela Jean Byrnes and Heidi Lea (Owen LeFaver), and great-granddaughters who are his pride and joy, Ashley Jean Byrnes and Abelina Anna Byrnes. He is survived by two sisters: Theresa (Robert Martinez) and Flora (John Herrera). He is preceded in death by sisters Nina (Ignacio Maynez), Rosa (Pete Gonzalez), Jenny (Edgar FitzGerald), Gloria (Elmer Lopez); and he also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
When Turo was younger, he was quite the hoopster and loved playing basketball. As a big fan of the Broncos, he and Lena were fortunate to attend a Superbowl! The life of the party, he always had a smile on his face. He continuously made himself available to friends and family; if you needed a hand or just someone to talk to, he was available.
Please join us in celebration!
