Arthur Lawrence Hall

December 6, 1952 - January 14, 2015

"Looney Larry"

Larry Hall, Harley riding, devastating fisherman, road-tripping enthusiast, scrapper, deal making car salesman left us on January 14, 2015.

While Larry fashioned himself a cross between James Bond and Rocky Balboa he truly exceled at being a jack of all trades...Mr. Fix It. He could wrangle a dishwasher and electrocute himself in a wall socket all within an hour of each other. While his activities inevitably included his own bloodshed he often walked away from a project the winner. His accomplishments include the Great Wall of Littleton and the Gardens of Yukon Street.

As an avid Harley enthusiast, he took great pride in riding his bikes and shared his love for riding with others. He was able to participate in the Sturgis Bike Rally and made many a friend with his bike tipping expertise. All still wonder how he made it home alive from that adventure.

His boat tripping adventures were legendary because he loved the thrill of launching the boat without the drain plug inserted. Lake Powell, Flaming Gorge, Lake McConaughy, Pueblo, Chatfield, Cherry Creek and many other lakes nationwide are all blessed to have his cell phone and car keys at their depths.

Larry seldom had a conflict because he had infinite patience and suffered idiots well. A tranquil nature that he passed on to his three beautiful daughters, Trish, Kim and Jen. Always ready to hear both sides of the issue he excelled at conflict resolution.

Often you could find Larry wrestling and laughing with his grandchildren demonstrating how to break bones and require stiches in whatever activity he engaged them with. He taught them that bleeding did not necessarily mean the fun had to stop. Tyler, Bre, Madison, Sabrina, Steven, Joe and Colette learned many valuable life lessons from PaPa.

In all seriousness the world has lost a very kind hearted, loving, generous, determined, strong man. You will be missed dad.

Memorial Service, Friday, January 23, 2015, 2:00pm at Three Trees Chapel, 13426 W. Arbor Place in Littleton, CO 80127.
