Anthony Valdez

Anthony Valdez passed away December 27th, 2015, after his tough battle with aggressive lymphoma. He was 51 years old.

He was born May 28th, 1964 in Denver, Colorado to George Valdez and Beverly Purcell. Over the years he worked at Meadow Gold, SuperValu, Yellow Freight, Diversified Transfer and Storage, and was also Self Employed doing various construction/remodeling jobs. He truly was a man of all work, but mostly enjoyed tile installation. He was most recently employed at the new DIA Westin Hotel.

He loved his family and friends and spending as much time with them as he could. He had a great sense of humor!

He is survived by his devoted life partner Rhonda Nimerichter, 2 children Joshua Valdez and Talisa Valdez, granddaughter Emma Smith, his father George Valdez, brothers Steve Valdez, Robert Valdez, and John Valdez and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Beverly Purcell and brothers Lawrence Valdez and Ricky Valdez.

Memorial services for Anthony Valdez will be held Monday, January 11th, 2016 at 10:30AM at St Mark's Lutheran Church located at 111 Del Mar Circle, Aurora, CO 80011 with Pastor Inga Longbrake, officiating.
