Angela Spurlock

Angela Lavette Spurlock began her journey in Houston, Texas, on February 19, 1968. She was born to the late Johnny Spurlock and LeJune Spurlock. Angela was the oldest of their two children. She was married to Joseph Liles, at a young age, when she conceived her first child - Rykia Spurlock. Houston was her home for the first half of her life until she relocated to Los Angeles, California. At this time, Angie began a new life with her former spouse Johnny Dennis, and her step-sons Corey Dennis and Johnny Dennis Jr. In her mid-20s she and Johnny were blessed with their 2nd biological child, Dewayne Kash Dennis. She her new life and blended family with all of her heart and soul! Angela had so much joy with the birth of her grandchildren Payton Joiner and Paidon Dennis.

Angie had a bright light inside of her that everyone could see. At times, it seemed that life dealt Angie some very tough cards, but the good always out-weighed the bad and through it all, she kept a positive outlook on life and her smile could light up any dark moment. She was someone that you could lean on, with no question, judgment or stipulations.

Angie was loved by many! She leaves behind many friends, cousins, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many more. For all that knew her she said often she was tired, but now she may rest and have peace! We are confident that Angie is now with our creator. She will be in our hearts forever. I thank you Angie, that I was able to become a part of your life's journey. We will always be proud of you.
