Alice Leschke

Alice (Totsie) died in her home surrounded by love. She lived well, laughed often and loved dearly, She was a long time resident of South Elgin until August of 2005 when she moved to Colorado to be with her family. She was loved by many and made friends everywhere she went. She enjoyed, camping, gardening, sewing, painting and cooking for her family, she did it all. She lived a valued, loved, wonderful life. She enjoyed huge family functions where she would tell jokes, laugh, play cards and dice games she was the life of the party. She was a strong independent woman who knew what she wanted. She was preceded in death by the love of her life her husband Howard R Leschke Sr. She leaves a Son Howard (Gwenn) Leschke Jr- Nunica, MI. a daughter Judith Wilson - Denver Co. 4 grandchildren Lana (LB) Rogers-Aurora Co, Melissa (Hilbert) Smith-Denver Co. Laura (Anthony) Gray-Petties-Aurora Co, Jennifer Gray-Aurora CO. 22 Great grandchildren, 39 Great-great grandchildren, 3 nieces and a host of people that called her Grandma Totsie. She will be missed.
