Alexander Cook

Alexander Cook, 26 years old, of Highlands Ranch, CO passed away November 4, 2015. He was born March 15, 1989 in Honolulu, Hawaii to parents, Kevin and Rhonda (Hatch) Cook. Before Alex started school, he received real life geography and history lessons while living in Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Texas, Northern Virginia and finally Colorado. Once in Colorado, Alex attended Douglas County Schools: Bear Canyon Elementary, Mountain Ridge Middle School and Mountain Vista High School.

Alex is survived by his mother, Rhonda Cook-Pfannenstiel; his father, Kevin Cook; his sister, Katherine Cook; his maternal grandparents, Jim and Irene Lemons of Littleton, paternal grandparents; Barbara Phillips-Mayer of Boulder, and Ken and Sally Cook of Austin, TX; aunts, Renee Ohde of Highlands Ranch and Mishawn Cook of Longmont, uncles; Ron Hatch of Berrysburg, PA and Ross Cook of San Diego, CA and cousins; Luke, Jared, Kira, Micah, Krystle and Kallie.

Alex is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lenus Lee Hatch.

Alex was an avid reader, loved to skateboard, watch movies and play video games. He experienced a real sense of accomplishment when he built with his hands. His real passion was welding and fabricating and he enjoyed giving gifts that he designed and made himself. Alex spent a lot of time with his grandparents and was involved with their Bible study group where he made many friends.
